Just not the way most people think!
They didn't get it the first time Jesus came, why do people think we have the second time figured out?
Welcome to my "strictly doctrine" site! My name is Ken Goding and I love messing with people's theology. Approximately 2005 I was reading my Bible and opened my mind enough to let the Word of God determine my doctrine, rather than filter the Word through my preconceived ideas. First God messed with my staunch "Pre-Trib" belief. Then my thoughts on "Once Saved Always Saved" were challenged about a year later. These I confirmed to be true, but I checked things out carefully and ultimately understood the huge network of deception that Satan has planted for the last days.
Make no mistake about it, most of the widely accepted doctrine in the church today is either flat out wrong, or off just enough to cause people trouble - maybe not today, but later on in their life.
What you will find on this website is considered heresy to most of the church and will challenge things you have thought you believed in. I speak very strongly at times, and very conversationally at times. I'm (slowly) learning to work in concepts rather than just burying a single point, although you will find some of that too. I hope to introduce audio messages over time as well.
Everything on this site was written by me, and I have never intentionally copied anything someone else wrote. Many concepts were introduced to me from other people, but I have done my best to make them my own. I give full permission for you to put my works in other places as long as they are in their entirety, unedited, and with my name attached. It's easy to take a paragraph out of context, twist it, and make something different from it, so they must be complete!
I understand fully that if you are the average Christian you will reject what I have to say, and I expect to receive a lot of flak for this. Jesus stated that many would be offended, betray, and hate in the last days (Matthew 24:10), so I can expect nothing less. Think carefully, however, because if I am not out of my mind (possible, I readily admit), I could actually be right - which would then make you responsible for rejecting what I have to say.
This isn't a flashy website. I don't have a whole lot of html skills, and I don't feel like developing them when I have plenty of other things to do.
This site is mainly intended for those who already name Christ. I care about sinners, but I'm mostly worried about those who are in the church but may be deceived.
I use the original King James almost exclusively in the writing, not because I think it's the only version to use but because it offers me consistency and it is in the Public Domain, making copyright notices unnecessary.
